Women in the western democratic world have gained many freedoms, but in some respects, we’re as trapped by our cultural paradigm as ever. Reenlisted in epic and endless repeat versions of “happily ever after”, women have not been well served by the all-pervasive narratives we’ve been raised with. Part map, part workbook, part friend, we’ll be using “Ariadne’s Thread and The Myth of Happily Ever After” as an alternative, overarching narrative to explore what we face into when staying true to an inner thread of authentic guidance.
Over four weeks we’ll explore questions that include:
• How has “happily ever after” impacted our lives?
• What might the purpose of “home” and “relationship” be?
• What would a developed capacity to “leave home” cyclically enable?
• In what ways do you authorise and enable a supportive inner Masculine?
• The absence of Mother and Pasiphae’s exile
